I have a first grader. My son, Noah, is 7 years old. A little boy named Noah was among the first graders who died at Sandy Hook. I can't stop thinking about if this horrible tragedy had occurred at my son's school...what if it had been my Noah?

Then, when he awoke, I crawled in bed with him and held him tight, thanking God that I have another day with him.

I agree with you and have shared the same thoughts since hearing of this school shooting. It's not about the guns or the gun laws, or what we allow or disallow in our country. No amount of legislation, of any kind, can change what is in the hearts and minds of human beings. It cannot change their core. The only thing we can change is how we treat others, and how we raise and what we teach our children. And we can do our best to raise human beings with sound minds, pure hearts, and solid, loving cores, who go on to do the same, for generations. Laws don't change mankind; people do.

"It is easier to build up a child than it is to repair an adult...Choose your words wisely."
Mindy | Pie on Sundayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15252334057972988374noreply@blogger.com
